2024 has been a big year for Amazon Prime Video as it has had some of the biggest successes in terms of its content getting recognition. While I am still not able to forgive and forget about Prime Video’s LOTR debacle this year they did give us amazing new shows like Fallout and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Upload Season 4
Upload is a sci-fi comedy series created by Greg Daniels. The Prime Video series has had a good run with three seasons available to binge now and a renewal for a fourth season which was announced on March 6, 2024 with the renewal Prime Video also announced that Upload’s upcoming season will be its last one. So, get ready for one more adventure in the virtual afterlife as the whole thing crashes soon.

Fallout Season 2
Based on Bethesda Softworks’ popular game series of the same name, Fallout premiered on Prime Video in April 2024, and quickly it became one of the most beloved video game adaptations of all time while it was doing that it also became one of the Prime Video’s biggest hits. So, a second season was a must, and only eight days after its release Amazon announced that the series would be returning for a second season. Other than that a second season is coming we only know one thing about the upcoming season and that is it will be set in California.
Cross Season 2
Amazon seems to have a lot of faith in their upcoming action crime series Cross as the streaming service has already greenlit the series for a second season before the release of Season 1. Based on the best-selling Alex Cross book series by James Patterson, the second season of the series also got some casting announcements. Wes Chatham (Ahsoka), Matthew Lillard (Good Girls), and Jeanine Mason (Upload) are all set to star in Season 2 against the lead actor Aldis Hodge (City on a Hill).
Mr. & Mrs. Smith Season 2
Amazon has finally renewed the espionage romantic-drama series Mr. & Mrs. Smith for a second season. The series premiered its first season on Prime Video in February 2024 and since then till May 14, 2024, we had to wait to find out the future of the series. While the series is returning, according to Variety the two leads of the series Danny Glover and Maya Erskine will not be returning to reprise their roles in Season 2.
The Boys Season 5
It comes as no surprise that Prime Video renewed The Boys for Season 5 before Season 4 even premiers. Created by Eric Kripke, the superhero dark action-comedy series has to be one of the biggest hits Amazon has and with the fans waiting for Season 4 patiently, Amazon announced the renewal of Season 5 with a video of Kimiko etching “Season 5” with a knife on a desk.
Maxton Hall — The World Between Us Season 2
According to Amazon, Maxton Hall – The World Between Us has the largest viewership numbers in its first week of release than any other International Prime Video original in its history. So, the renewal for Season 2 was just a matter of time. Based on a book titled Save Me by Mona Kasten, the German series follows the story of two teenagers attending the same public school Maxton Hall, but their worlds are completely different.
