Cruel Intentions is a teen thriller drama series co-created by Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman. Based on the 1999 film of the same name by Roger Kumble, which in turn was based French epistolary novel titled Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The Prime Video series is set in Washington, D.C., and it revolves around two step-siblings who sit at the top of the Greek life social ladder as they make a bet with each other to seduce the daughter of their college’s Vice President. Cruel Intentions stars Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, Savannah Lee Smith, Sara Silva, John Harlan Kim, Khobe Clarke, Brooke Lena Johnson, and Sean Patrick Thomas.
