Scarlett Johansson Joins Wes Anderson’s New Film after Margot Robbie

Wes Anderson‘s upcoming untitled film is going to be his biggest movie ever, even if we just look at the cast he’s got Bill Murray, Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Tilda Swinton, and a bunch of Anderson’s frequent collaborators.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson is just coming of her last Marvel film the Black Widow, and she is diving straight into Anderson’s quirky world of films.

The Spain based movie has enlisted the collection of Anderson thespians including Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Rupert Friend, but Anderson has included new high profile actors into his next film including Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks.

Rupert Friend and Jason Schwartzman Join Wes Anderson's Next Film

The plot of the upcoming Anderson film is still being kept a secret, the script for the film was written by Anderson who is also directing the film, and the filming of the film is expected to be completed in late September.

This isn’t the first time Johansson is working with Anderson, but this will be the first time she is working with him on camera because she previously did a voice role for Anderson’s 2018 stop-motion animated film Isle of Dogs.

The untitled film began production this week in Spain with many of Anderson’s frequent collaborators including Murray, Brody, Swinton, Friend and Schwartzman. Johansson is the latest to join the star-studded cast of the upcoming film after Friend and Schwartzman.
