Apple TV+ is still relatively new in the streaming industry, and despite having made a name for themselves by producing quality content that people talk about to no end, the Apple-owned streaming service has produced some shows that don’t get talked about much, but not because they are bad, but because they are overlooked. On one hand, Apple TV+ has produced extremely popular shows like Ted Lasso and Severance; on the other hand, it has brilliant but nowhere near as popular shows like Drops of God and Slow Horses. That’s why we decided to compile a list of all the brilliant shows that have been overlooked by the masses.
Trying

Trying is a British feel-good comedy-drama series created by Andy Wolton. The Apple TV+ series is set in London, and it follows Nikki and Jason, a relatively young couple who discover that they can’t have babies. They soon decide to adopt children, but the process of adopting kids is harder than expected. Trying stars Esther Smith, Rafe Spall, Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd, Ophelia Lovibond, Oliver Chris, Imelda Staunton, Phil Davis, Paula Wilcox, and Marian McLoughlin.
Drops of God

Drops of God is a French-American-Japanese thriller drama series created by Quoc Dang Tran. Based on the Japanese manga series of the same name by Tadashi Agi and Shu Okimoto, the Apple TV+ series revolves around a competition for the inheritance of Alexandre Léger, who created the famous Léger Wine Guide and owns an extremely valuable collection of wine. To claim the inheritance, Alexandre’s estranged daughter arrives in Tokyo and must compete against Alexandre’s star student to get her hands on it. Drops of God stars Tomohisa Yamashita, Fleur Geffrier, Tom Wozniczka, Stanley Weber, and Luca Terracciano.
Platonic

Platonic is a comedy series created by Francesca Delbanco and Nicholas Stoller. The Apple TV+ series follows Sylvia, a housewife with a loving husband, three children, and a stable home life. When Sylvia reconnects with her former best friend, Will, their friendship brings about chaos and childishness back into her life. Platonic stars Rose Byrne, Seth Rogen, Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Andrew Lopez, and Carla Gallo.
Sugar

Sugar is a neo-noir sci-fi mystery drama series created by Mark Protosevich. The Apple TV+ series is set in Los Angeles, and it follows John Sugar, a private detective who is hired by a powerful film producer to investigate his drug addicted granddaughter’s sudden disappearance, but Sugar soon discovers some dark secrets that threaten to reveal his own secrets. Sugar stars Colin Farrell, Kirby, Amy Ryan, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Alex Hernandez, and James Cromwell.
Bad Sisters

Bad Sisters is an Irish dark comedy crime thriller drama series created by Sharon Horgan, Dave Finkel, and Brett Baer. Based on the Belgian series Clan by Malin-Sarah Gozin, the Apple TV+ series follows the five Garvey sisters who become top suspects in a murder investigation after Grace’s abusive husband dies. Criminal Record is a British crime thriller drama series created by Paul Rutman. The Apple TV+ series follows DCI Daniel Hegarty, a seasoned veteran, and DS June Lenker, a newbie, who clash because of an old murder investigation that is reopened after they receive an anonymous phone call. Physical is a dark comedy-drama series created by Annie Weisman. The Apple TV+ series is set in the 1980s in San Diego, and it follows Sheila Rubin, a housewife unhappy in her marriage and struggling with her lifelong battle with bulimia. She finds some respite when she discovers aerobics, but she soon becomes obsessed with it. Invasion is a sci-fi drama series created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil. The Apple TV+ series revolves around a global alien invasion as seen through various perspectives all around the world in real time. Servant

Servant is a psychological horror thriller drama series created by Tony Basgallop. The Apple TV+ series is set in Philadelphia, and it follows Dorothy and Sean Turner, a couple grieving the loss of their infant son, Jericho. While Sean has accepted the fact of his son’s death, Dorothy still believes that he is alive. So, Sean replaces his son with a reborn doll and hires Leanne Grayson, a young live-in nanny to take care of him, but Leanne is hiding dark truths. Slow Horses

Slow Horses is a British spy thriller dark comedy series created by Will Smith. Based on the Slough House novel series by Mick Herron, the Apple TV+ series is set in London and it follows a group of MI5 rejects who have reassigned to an administrative purgatory known as Slough House, which is ruled by Jackson Lamb, a cranky old fart machine who’s still one of the best spooks in Britain. Slow Horses stars Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Kristin Scott Thomas, Sophie Okonedo, and Jonathan Pryce.
