Ever since Kevin Feige announced a Moon Knight series, fans have been waiting for it and now Marvel has added Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, two indie directors to its Disney+ series lineup.
Oscar Isaac was confirmed to be playing the titular character Moon Knight just a day before, and now according to The Hollywood Reporter Marvel has added Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead to direct several episodes of the series. Benson and Moorhead are best known for their brilliant indie horror films The Endless and Synchronic.
Moon Knight is to be headed by the Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab (Clash) and now joining him Benson and Moorhead, should make a fascinating combo to bring this mentally challenged character and the god of vengeance to screen.
THR also reports that the duo will be directing several episodes of the series but there is no word yet, that if they will also be joining the writer’s room alongside Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) because they are known to also write their own projects.
