The Netflix series is set in a small island town and it follows the story of a young returning to his hometown after spending four years in prison for a drunk-driving accident that killed someone. He arrives in the town at the same time as a mysterious priest who revives the faith of people in the town but what the town doesn’t know is that he is hiding something sinister. All of the eight patients gather every night to tell each other sinister stories and investigate signs of the supernatural kind and they also have a pact that whoever dies first must contact them from beyond the grave. The Midnight Club didn’t get a season even after rave reviews from both the critics and the audience leaving fans to wonder what to do with the loose plot threads still dangling. Archive 81 is a supernatural horror series created by Rebecca Sonnenshine. Based on a horror podcast of the same name by Daniel Powell and Marc Sollinger, the Netflix series follows the story of Dan, an archivist who a mysterious company hires to restore a damaged videotape but soon he finds himself embroiled in a dangerous mystery involving a missing director and a mysterious cult that the director was documenting. Archive 81 premiered on Netflix with positive reviews from both the critics and the audience but it was canceled just after one season leaving fans with a great cliffhanger that will never get resolved. All of Us Are Dead
All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean zombie horror series created by Chun Sung-il, Lee Jae-kyoo, and Kim Nam-su. Based on a Naver webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun, the Netflix series is set in the city of Hyosan, South Korea where a science teacher does horrible experiments resulting in a local high school being overrun by zombies soon the outbreak spreads beyond the authorities’ control. We follow the story of a group of high school students who must band together to survive this horrific nightmare and get to safety. Based on a 1996 novel of the same name by Todd Grimson, the Netflix series has a very weird or should I say unique plot as it follows the story of a filmmaker heading to LA to make her dream film but when she trusts the wrong person she gets trapped in a nightmare filled with drugs, sex, revenge, zombies, hit men, mysterious tattoo artist who puts curses on people, and supernatural kittens.
