Apple TV+ has quickly become the place where you find peak TV, and to achieve that status, they have to leave some shows behind and support the shows with potential. 2025 has been an extremely good year for Apple TV+ as it saw the premiere of brilliant and popular shows like The Studio and Severance Season 2, but we also have some shows that didn’t make it out of the chopping block. So, let’s find out if your favorite Apple TV+ original series made the cut or not.
Canceled
Acapulco (Canceled After Season 4)

One of Apple TV+’s oldest and most beloved shows has come to an end with its fourth and final season. We are obviously talking about the comedy series Acapulco. Based on the 2017 film How to Be a Latin Lover, the Apple TV+ series was co-created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. Acapulco stars Eugenio Derbez, Enrique Arrizon, Damián Alcázar, Jessica Collins, Fernando Carsa, and Vanessa Bauche.
Mythic Quest (Canceled After Season 4)

Mythic Quest is one of the most brilliant and entertaining shows on Apple TV+, but that doesn’t really translate into viewership figures, as the comedy series had a very quiet run during its Season 4. Co-created by Charlie Day, Megan Ganz, and Rob McElhenney, the Apple TV+ series revolves around the absurd misadventures of a group of video game company employees. Mythic Quest was canceled after its recently released Season 4, which was sadly not intended to be the final season, and that’s why the fans of the series will not be able to get any closure.
The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin (Canceled After Season 1)

Nobody expected to see The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin get canceled, as it was previously renewed for Season 2 by Apple’s own streaming service, but things took a turn for the worse when the lead actor, Noel Fielding, refused to make the series partway through the production of Season 2. The historical comedy series revolves around the absurd adventure of highwayman Dick Turpin and his ragtag crew.

Ted Lasso (Renewed for Season 4)

If we talk about the most popular Apple TV+ original shows then there is no way Ted Lasso is not mentioned and maybe that’s why despite after seemingly concluding their story, Apple TV+ renewed the feel-good comedy series for Season 4 and brought almost all of the original cast back including Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift, and Brendan Hunt. So, get ready for an endless stream of optimism that will be coming your way in Ted Lasso Season 4.
