If you loved Seth Rogen‘s satirical comedy series about Hollywood on Apple TV+, then rejoice as the Apple-owned streaming service has just renewed The Studio for Season 2, and that too before it even completes its first season on air.
Created by Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, The Studio is set in Hollywood and revolves around a hapless film producer named Matt Remick, who becomes the newly appointed head of a major studio. Now Matt must make hard decisions and hurt some people’s feelings to secure the bottom line, but that doesn’t exactly fit with his flimsy personality.
The Studio stars Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn but it does have boat loads of cameos from major celebrities including Martin Scorsese, Anthony Mackie, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Charlize Theron, Steve Buscemi, Greta Lee, Olivia Wilde, Johnny Knoxville, Adam Scott, Ice Cube, Ron Howard, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, and many more.
As of now, the only thing we know about Season 2 of The Studio is that Rogen will be “taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for ten more seasons,” as he confirmed in a statement.
The Studio premiered on Apple TV+ on March 26, 2025, and it is all set to premiere its last episode of the season on May 21, 2025. So, enjoy it until then, and after that, let’s get ready for another wild ride and eye-popping cameos in Season 2.
