Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series is about to start filming after many problems with production mainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the upcoming Disney+ series will see Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and it will take place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

Disney announced the full cast that will appear in the upcoming series with Ewan McGregor, and there will be some familiar faces like Hayden Christensen‘s Darth Vader aka Anakin, and also some new faces like comedian and actor Kumail Nanjiani, he will also appear in Marvel’s upcoming Eternals alongside Angelina Jolie.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Series – Release Date?
The filming on the series will begin sometime in April, and with the amount of VFX, this series will require it is safe to say that at the earliest Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series will arrive early in 2022 on Disney+. So, fans will have to wait some more for the Jedi Master.

The series will be directed by Deborah Chow who also directed the first two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 1 and the scripts will be written by Joby Harold, he is mostly known for his work on My Blind Brother.
