Abbott Elementary is a mockumentary-style workplace comedy series created by Quinta Brunson. The upcoming Season 5 of the ABC series will continue the story of the teachers at the underfunded Abbott Elementary school in Philadelphia. Shifting Gears Season 2 (October 2)
Shifting Gears is a sitcom series co-created by Julie Thacker Scully and Mike Scully. The upcoming Season 2 of the ABC series will continue the story of the father-daughter duo Matt and Riley Parker as they try to raise Riley’s two kids while being more and more annoyed by each other’s personalities. Stay is an upcoming horror thriller drama film written and directed by Jas Summers. The Hulu film follows a couple who are about to break up, but things change when they begin experiencing a strange supernatural phenomenon, which forces them to work together to stay alive. Stay stars Megalyn Echikunwoke, Mo McRae, Brandon Firla, Patrick Cloud, and Dominic Stephens.
Solar Opposites Season 6 (October 12)
Solar Opposites is an adult animated sci-fi dark comedy-drama series co-created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan. The upcoming sixth and final season of the Hulu series will conclude the story of the family of aliens that crash-landed on Earth, as well as the story of the tiny people trapped in a wall terrarium of one of the aliens. Murdaugh: Death in the Family is an upcoming true crime drama miniseries co-created by Michael D. Fuller and Erin Lee Carter. Based on Mandy Matney’s Murdaugh Murders Podcast, the Hulu series revolves around the privileged Murdaugh family as sinister secrets come to light after a deadly boat crash and several deaths. Anyone But You (October 20)
Anyone But You is a romantic comedy film directed by Will Gluck, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ilana Wolpert. Based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, the 2023 film revolves around Bea and Ben, who hate each other’s guts despite a lovely first date. When they are forced to face each other during a friend’s wedding, they decide to pretend to be dating for the people around them. The Hand that Rocks the Cradle is an upcoming horror thriller film directed by Michelle Garza Cervera from a screenplay by Micah Bloomberg. Based on the 1992 film of the same name by Amanda Silver, the Hulu film follows suburban mom Caitlin Morales, who hires Polly Murphy as a nanny for her toddler, but soon finds herself suspecting Polly of hiding something sinister underneath.
