Solar Opposites is a brilliant animated series about family, love, friends, and some very confused aliens. Created by the minds behind Rick and Morty, the Hulu original series follows a group of aliens escaping from the exploding home world after which they crash land into a ready-to-move-in home in suburban America. The series centers around the group as they find out more and more about the earth and also they are waiting until Pupa, a living supercomputer is ready to evolve into its true form, and then consume and terraform the Earth. Solar Opposites has enjoyed two hit seasons on Hulu with a third one on the way and while your wait until July is short for some new episodes you could be watching these brilliant shows to pass the time.

Synopsis: After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth’s doorstep to move in with her and her family. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. Synopsis: Zim dreams of greatness. Unfortunately, though, he’s hopelessly inept as a space invader. To their consternation, Zim succeeds in setting up a base on Earth and infiltrating human culture, posing as a human child as he plots the planet’s downfall. Only Zim’s archnemesis, Dib, recognizes that Zim is an alien, and of course, nobody believes Dib’s claims.
