NBC Cancels ‘Found’ After Season 2

Published on

If you loved NBC’s police procedural crime thriller-drama series Found, then we have some bad news for you. According to Deadline, NBC has chosen to cancel the Shanola Hampton-led series after its second season.

The news of cancelation comes before Found airs its Season 2 finale, which very well could be now the series finale. While it is a discouraging news for the fans, all is not lost as Found’s lead studio, Warner Bros. Television, is looking to shop the series around to other networks and streaming services.

Found follows Gabi, a public relations specialist and crisis manager, as she works with her team to find America’s missing people who have been ignored or forgotten by the media and the government. Gabi was a victim of kidnapping, and now she is holding her kidnapper captive and regularly enlists his assistance in finding the missing people.

Found stars Hampton as Gabrielle “Gabi” Mosley, Kelli Williams as Margaret Reed, Brett Dalton as Detective Mark Trent, Gabrielle Walsh as Lacey Quinn, Arlen Escarpeta as Zeke Wallace, Karan Oberoi as Dhan Rana, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Hugh “Sir” Evans.

Found was canceled alongside NBC’s The Irrational, Lopez vs Lopez, Suits: L.A., and Night Court.
