This June, we are getting a ton of content from the much-anticipated conclusion of Squid Game and return of the beloved series The Bear on streaming, to the release of some of the most anticipated movies of this year, such as Brad Pitt‘s F1, and the much-awaited 28 Years Later. This upcoming month will see the release of many great movies, so we thought of compiling a list of all the best movies that are coming straight to streaming.
Presence (June 3) – Hulu

Presence is a supernatural thriller drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by David Koepp. The 2024 film follows the Payne family as they move into a suburban home and discover that the house is haunted by a spirit. Presence stars Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Eddy Maday, West Mullholland, Julia Fox, and Natalie Woolams-Torres.
Night Swim (June 5) – Peacock

Night Swim is a supernatural horror film written and directed by Bryce McGuire. Based on McGuire’s 2014 short film of the same name, the 2024 film follows the Waller family as they move into a suburban house with a pool in their backyard, but they soon realize that the pool is haunted by a sinister force. Night Swim stars Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Amélie Hoeferle, Gavin Warren, Jodi Long, and Ayazhan Dalabayeva.
Predator: Killer of Killers (June 6) – Hulu

Predator: Killer of Killers is an upcoming adult animated sci-fi action horror anthology film co-directed by Dan Trachtenberg and Micho Robert Rutare. The Hulu film revolves around three deadly warriors from different times and different parts of the world as they come face-to-face with the alien hunter, Predator. Predator: Killer of Killers’ voice cast includes Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn.
Tyler Perry’s Straw (June 6) – Netflix

Tyler Perry’s Straw is an upcoming thriller film written and directed by Tyler Perry. The Netflix film follows Janiyah Wiltkinson, a single mother with a sick daughter, on a particularly bad day as everything devolves into chaos, leaving her to do something unimaginable. Tyler Perry’s Straw stars Taraji P. Henson, Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Sinbad, Rockmond Dunbar, Ashley Versher, Mike Merrill, and Glynn Truman.
Deep Cover (June 12) – Prime Video

Deep Cover is an upcoming British action comedy film directed by Tom Kingsley from a screenplay co-written by Colin Trevorrow, Derek Connolly, Ben Ashenden, and Alexander Owen. The 2025 film is set in London, and it revolves around improv actors who are recruited by the police to infiltrate the city’s most brutal gang. Deep Cover stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, Nick Mohammed, Paddy Considine, Ian McShane, and Sean Bean.
Echo Valley (June 13) – Apple TV+

Echo Valley is an upcoming thriller film directed by Michael Pearce from a screenplay by Brad Ingelsby. The Apple TV+ film is set in Pennsylvania, and it follows Kate Garrett, a single mother who trains horses on a farm, but when one night her daughter comes home covered in someone else’s blood, she must do everything she can to protect her. Echo Valley stars Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, and Fiona Shaw.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (June 20) – Prime Video

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an action-adventure comedy film directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay co-written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington. Based on the Sonic video game series of the same name, developed by Sega, the 2024 film continues the story of Sonic and his family, which has expanded to include Tails and Knuckles now. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles come across a powerful new enemy named Shadow, who has joined forces with Dr Robotnik. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 stars Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, and Keanu Reeves.
Nosferatu (June 27) – Prime Video

Nosferatu is a Gothic horror film written and directed by Robert Eggers. Based on the classic 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror by Henrik Galeen, the 2024 film is set in the early 1800s and it follows Thomas Hutter, a financially struggling estate agent who travels to Transylvania to meet Count Orlok, a prospective client, but Thomas soon realizes that Count Orlok is the incarnation of evil himself. Nosferatu stars Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgard, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, and Willem Dafoe.
F Marry Kill (June 27) – Hulu

F Marry Kill is a comedy thriller film directed by Laura Murphy from a screenplay co-written by Ivan Diaz, Dan Scheinkman, and Meghan Brown. The 2025 film follows Eva Vaughn, a young woman obsessed with true crime podcasts, who begins to suspect that the men she met on the dating app might be the dangerous serial killer, Swipe Right Killer. F Marry Kill stars Lucy Hale, Virginia Gardner, Brooke Nevin, Samer Salem, and Bethany Brown.
A Minecraft Movie (TBA) – HBO Max

A Minecraft Movie is a fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Jared Hess from a screenplay co-written by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener, Gavin James, and Chris Galletta. Based on the popular video game Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios, the 2025 film revolves around a group of humans as they are pulled into the cubicle world of Minecraft and must seek out the expert crafter known as Steve to get back to their world. A Minecraft Movie stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, Sebastian Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge.
