Jason Statham is back with a sequel to his hit shark action film The Meg titled Meg 2: The Trench. While the Meg films never had the substance of Jaws, it sure does know how to entertain an audience and Meg 2 delivers on that perfectly. Meg 2 sees our Jonas once again taking on sharks and fighting for the survival of his own life and the life of the people around him. Meg 2: The Trench is coming exclusively in theaters on August 4, 2023. While the reviews for Meg 2 haven’t been great the audience will have to decide this Jason Statham’s sequel’s fate.

Meg 2: The Trench is coming exclusively into theaters and is expected to stay in theaters until mid-September. After 45 days it could be available to stream on Warner Bros,’ streaming service Max. Meg 2 is also expected to stream on Prime Video (the availability of the film on Prime Video may differ per region).
