The Boys Season 2 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 4, 2020.
The Boys is loaded with superheroes and supervillains but in the center of it all, there is only one team and that is The Seven which contains mostly assholes, but also some good people and some conflicted. So, let us break down their powers and see who is good, bad, complicated, and the most powerful of them all. We will not include Translucent as he was killed in the previous season instead of him there is a new member of the season. Who is it? let’s find out.
7. The Deep

The Deep (Chace Crawford) is The Boys take on Aquaman as he can talk to aquatic creatures as he was seen doing many times in season 1 and he can also command them to do his bidding. For now, he is banished to Sandusky, Ohio but nonetheless, he is one of The Seven, He can also breathe underwater because he has gills on his abdomen. The Deep is a grade one as**ole.
6. Black Noir

Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell), if we are talking about the most mysterious one in The Seven, it’s Black Noir his all-black suit paired with a black face mask accompanied by his complete silence has given him an intimidating reputation in the series. Black Noir is a martial arts master and his skills are enhanced by his superpowers. There is not much that can be said about Black Noir’s personality because we don’t even know his human name, nor we have seen how he looks.Â
5. A-TrainÂ

A-Train (Jessie Usher) aka Reggie Franklin is the fastest human on the planet and grade A, as**ole as he killed Hughie’s girlfriend and tried to kill him but in his defense, Hughie was also trying to take his revenge on him. A-Train also has amplified strength and durability but his main power is his speed. He can run faster than 1000 miles per hour in other words faster than sound. Oh forgot to tell you, he is also a junkie.
4. Starlight

Starlight (Erin Moriarty) aka Annie January was the newest member of The Seven in The Boys Season 1, and her first day was worst than anyone can imagine. Starlight can pull power from nearby electricity, which makes her body glow enough to temporarily blind people and she can also power blasts from her hands. She also has super strength and durability. She is the one and only good person in The Seven.
3. Stormfront

Stormfront (Aya Cash) is the newcomer to The Seven in The Boys Season 2, and it looks like she has a big role in it. She is the replacement of Translucent as he was killed in The Boys Season 1 by Hugie by an ass bomb. Stormfront has the power to control electricity which allows her to shoot bolts from her hand, and she can also somewhat fly or levitate if we want to describe her powers in one word electrokinesis. In Season 2 she apparently challenges Homelander’s authority and from the footage, we have seen she is definitely not a good person.
2. Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) aka Maggie Shaw is the second in command of The Seven (unofficially). Maeve is inspired by Wonder Woman without its origins. She has super strength, stamina, reflexes, and durability. Maeve can’t fly like in the comics but she can leap really high. She is the most conflicted one of The Seven, who wants to do good but is suppressed by the bad around her.
1. Homelander

Homelander (Anthony Starr), the big bad himself. The leader of The Seven was raised in a lab and in people’s eyes the great American hero. He is inspired by Superman but with a psychopath’s mind and a touch of homicidal rage. Homelander is really strong and I think he is invincible, he also has super hearing, x-ray vision, laser eyes, and can also fly, his only weakness known is he can’t see through zinc. Homelander is the most interesting character in The Boys so far.
