Created by Meaghan Oppenheimer, the Hulu psychological romantic drama series is based on a 2018 novel of the same name by author Carola Lovering and it explores themes like coming-of-age, toxic love, ambition, and betrayal.
Season 2 of Tell Me Lies continues the story of Lucy and Stephen as they return to college after their explosive breakup and as they fit themselves into a new kind of toxic relationship. The new season also takes a closer look at the friend group after the intense events of the Season 1 finale.
