Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency is one of the most inventive and bizarre series ever made. The BBC America series follows Todd Brotzman who unfortunately gets involved in a murder and gets a visit from a detective named Dirk Gently, who is eccentric, to say the least, and he believes that he and Todd are destined to solve mysteries together. The brilliant series ran for only two seasons and then it was canceled leaving millions of fans frustrated. So, if you also miss Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency here are some shows you could watch to pass the time.
Dirk Gently (The Roku Channel Premium Subscription)

Synopsis: Meet Dirk Gently. He’s poorly dressed, perpetually insolvent …and uncommonly good at solving mysteries. As proprietor of the Holistic Detective Agency, Dirk follows methods that are, in his own words, “based on an almost unswerving belief in the fundamental interconnectedness of all things.” Affably played by Stephen Mangan (Episodes), Dirk is aided–and frequently irritated–by his hapless assistant, Richard MacDuff (Darren Boyd, Holy Flying Circus). Together, they tackle cases ranging from a missing cat to a murder that may involve the Pentagon.
