Wuthering Heights (May 1)
Wuthering Heights is a period romantic drama film written and directed by Emerald Fennell. Based on Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel of the same name, the 2026 film is set in 18th-century England, and it revolves around a passionate romantic relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, but fate tears them away from each other. Wuthering Heights stars Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
Greenland 2: Migration (May 8)
Greenland 2: Migration is a post-apocalyptic film directed by Ric Roman Waugh, from a screenplay co-written by Mitchell LaFortune and Chris Sparling. The 2026 sequel film is set five years after the events of the first film, and it continues the story of the Garrity family as they must leave the safety of the bunker to find a new home. Greenland 2: Migration stars Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Roman Griffin Davis, and Sophie Thompson.
Song of the Samurai Season 1 (May 9)
Song of the Samurai is an upcoming Japanese action drama series created by Shinya Umemura. Based on Shinya Umemura’s manga series Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem, the HBO Max series is set during the late Edo period in Japan, and it follows a special police force in Kyoto known as the Shinsengumi. Song of the Samurai stars Gô Ayano, Kento Nakajima, and Yamada Yuki.
Lurker (May 15)
Lurker is a psychological thriller film written and directed by Alex Russell. The 2025 film follows a retail employee as he worms his way into the inner circle of a rising music star, but as he gets reliant on the access and proximity to stardom, he is willing to cross any line to retain it. Lurker stars Théodore Pellerin, Archie Madekwe, Zack Fox, Havana Rose Liu, and Wale Onayemi.
A Complete Unknown (May 27)
A Complete Unknown is a biographical drama film directed by James Mangold, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Cocks. Based on Elijah Wald’s 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric!, the 2024 film is set between 1961 and 1965, and it revolves around the controversial period of Bob Dylan’s personal and professional life as he transitions from being a folk singer to using electric instruments. A Complete Unknown stars Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, and Scott McNairy.
Miss You, Love You (May 29)
Miss You, Love You is an upcoming drama film written and directed by Jim Rash. The 2026 film follows a widow as she plans her husband’s funeral, but when her estranged son decides not to come to the funeral, she bonds and grieves with a stranger. The Moment is a mockumentary film directed by Aidan Zamiri, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes.
