After a stint as a flight attendant in HBO Max’s mystery crime thriller series, Kaley Cuoco is returning to television for another mystery thriller series in MGM+’s Vanished.
Created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, the four-part thriller series follows Alice and Tom, a couple on a romantic getaway in Paris, but things take a dark turn after Tom suddenly vanishes and Alice gets entangled in a web of secrets.
Alongside Cuoco, Vanished also stars Sam Claflin (Harlan Coben’s Lazarus), Karin Viard, Matthias Schweighofer (Army of the Dead), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale), and Dar Zuzovsky (The Saints).
MGM+ acquired the rights to air the mystery thriller series in the United States. In a statement released on Wednesday by the head of MGM+, Michael Wright said they “are thrilled to make MGM+ the home for ‘Vanished’ in the U.S”.
