DC’s ‘The Penguin’ Series Adds Cristin Milioti to Cast

Cristin Milioti has just made her entrance into Matt ReevesThe Batman universe. The ‘Made for Love‘ actress has been cast as Carmine Falcone’s daughter Sofia Falcone in The Batman upcoming spin-off series revolving around Penguin.

Milioti has been cast opposite Colin Farrell, who is set to play the title character. According to HBO Max’s description of the upcoming spin-off series, The Penguin (working titled) will expand on the Reeves’ The Batman universe, while focusing on Farrell’s nefarious mobster in Gotham.

In, The Batman film, Carmine Falcone is played by John Turturro, who is at odds with the Penguin. The film confirms that Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz) is Falcone’s daughter and now that Milioti has been cast as the other daughter it is possible that Kravitz’s Selina could make an appearance in the series.

Reeves is serving as an executive producer on the series alongside Dylan Clark, Farrell, Lauren LeFranc, and Daniel Pipski. LeFranc will also serve as the writer and showrunner on the series alongside Craig Zobel, who is set to direct the first two episodes.

Recently, Milioti appeared in the acclaimed Peacock series The Resort, and she is also known for her role in the Hulu film Palm Springs and her HBO Max series Made For Love.
