THE LAST OF US will be premiered on HBO soon. The game was developed by Naughty Dog company and is a super hit on Sony PlayStation. The Last of Us is a full-fledged Action Game and very popular amongst action lovers.

The Last of Us game loaded with lots of action and adventure was released in the year 2013 by Naughty Dog. The game revolves around the character Joel who tries to stay alive in the world where some other remaining humans are also doing the same. Approached by a group called FIREFLIES, Joel is asked to kidnap a girl named Ellie. The twist in the story is revealed when Ellie is believed to be the possible cure as she is the one not affected by the fungus. The huge success of the game developed by Naughty Dog led to the release of the single-player sequel THE LAST OF US 2 in the year 2020 for PlayStation 4.

Our very own Neil Druckmann who is the creative director of both the sequels of the game is writing the story for the series along with another co-writer Craig Mazin. Craig Mazin is very well known for creating and writing the 2019 TV show of HBO named Chernobyl. Carolyn Strauss is the executive producer for the series along with Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin. Carolyn Strauss was also the executive producer for one more super hot series Game of Thrones aka GOT Russian Director named Kantameir Balagov will be the director for the first episode which goes on air. Director is very famous for his movie Beanpole.

The major roles have been bagged mostly by the actors from our Game of Thrones. Pedro Pascal who was seen playing Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, season 4 has been chosen for the main character Joel. Some very well-known movies of Pedro Pascal are Wonder Woman 1984, The Equaliser, The Mandalorian. Ellie’s role has also been bagged by a member of Game of Thrones. Bella Ramsay will be seen playing the role of Ellie.

The sequel of the game was released on June 19, 2020. The story of the games moves four years ahead wherein Joe and Ellie are shown living in Jackson with a disdain relationship. Joel and Tommy are seen rescuing a stranger Abby Anderson from an infected group. But Abby is on the shady side is seen seeking revenge from Joel for his father’s death. Ellie, on the other hand, is suffering from post-traumatic stress. Her fight with Abby and the last words with Joel while playing his guitar. The sequel was also full of action and adventure. There is a wait among the fans for the TV show. With such a different storyline series are going to be awesome.
When The Last of Us Will Be Released?
Due to the pandemic worldwide, the filming has been delayed. The series will be started filming in the year 2021. The release is hopefully expected in the year 2022.
