Kristian McKay‘s upcoming horror thriller film Kill Trip just added five talented actors to its cast, including Samaire Armstrong (Terror On The Prairie), Corin Nemec (Place Of Bones), Stelio Savante (Infidel), Todd Jenkins (The Channel), and Brittany McVicker (Break).

Kill Trip revolves around a group of people on their way to a musical festival in Austin. They hitch a ride to the music festival, but they soon find themselves trapped in a nightmare as they realise that they asked for help from the wrong person. Now, they must fight to survive against a malevolent force hiding in plain sight.

Produced under the banner of Obscura Film, Kill Trip will be filmed throughout Central Texas, and the principal photography is set to begin in May 2025.

Kill Trip will be McKay’s first American feature film. McKay has garnered awards that include “The Golden Palm Award” at the Mexico International Film Festival in 2018, the “Audience Award” at NewFilmmakers LA 2018, and Official Selection at Guayaquil International Film Festival for his debut feature film, Ventaja. Ventaja, a thriller filmed in South America, enjoyed a successful eight-week theatrical run with Cinemark Cinemas in 2019 and was nominated as Ecuador’s Oscar submission for the Best Foreign Film category.
