Netflix’s upcoming horror miniseries based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe‘s works titled “The Fall of The House of Usher” will premiere on the streaming giant on October 12 of this year. Netflix also revealed some chilling first-look images from the series.
This horror limited series will be the fifth collaboration between Netflix and Mike Flanagan. The title of the series comes from a short story, which Poe wrote, and while the name of the series is derived from only one short story, the series will be based on multiple works of Poe.
Here’s the official synopsis: “From Mike Flanagan, the creator of The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, a wicked horror series based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power. But past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.”
