Star Trek fans have just gotten a first look at the much anticipated Season 4 of the hit series Star Trek: Discovery. The first trailer for the fourth season of the series was unveiled during the show’s New York Comic-Con Panel. Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 will premiere exclusively on Paromunt+ on November 18.

The trailer sees Captain Michael Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery confronting a mysterious anomaly. We see our heroes truly go where no man has gone before, and enter into the dangerous unknown. The trailer hints that if the crew does not face the dangers head-on, more lives could be put at risk.

Discovery Season 4 was officially announced back in November when the cast was reported to begin the production on the season and back in August cast member Doug Jones announced that the production on Season 4 has been completed. Aside from Jones, the series also stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio, and Ian Alexander.

The official synopsis for Season 4 is: Season 4 of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they’ve ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all.

Season 4 will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on November 18, as it was mentioned before and Star Trek: Discovery Season 1-3 is also currently streaming on Paramount+. Check out the trailer for Season 4:
