One of the best Apple TV+ original series has to be the British dark comedy spy thriller series Slow Horses, and after four brilliant seasons of must-watch TV, the fans have been waiting for the much-anticipated fifth season and the Apple owned streaming service has finally revealed a few first look images and release date for Season 5, which is September 24, 2025.
Based on the Slough House novel series by Mick Herron, the Apple TV+ series is adapted for television by Will Smith. It is mostly set in London, and it revolves around a group of MI5 rejects serving their days in the spook purgatory known as Slough House, which is ruled by the always irritated and tyrannical Jackson Lamb.
The official description for the upcoming season is as follows:
“Everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, the London Rules — cover your back — always apply.”
Slow Horses Season 5 will see the return of Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke, and Jonathan Pryce but the big cast news for the upcoming is that Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed will be joining the cast in Season 5 as a guest star.
