Gotham is one of the best series out there that explores every element of the gritty world of Gotham. The series follows a young James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and a teenage Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), and it also introduces all of the iconic Batman villains including the Penguin, the Riddler, Falcone, and many more. Gotham premiered in 2014 and it ran for five seasons concluding its story in 2019. Smallville (Hulu)

Synopsis: Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Daredevil (Disney+)
Synopsis: Daredevil follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night.
