The JTBC series follows the story of a young veterinarian, who acquires the power of a psychic who can see the memories of people and animals after touching their bottom. She helps a detective who recently moved to her town, to track down a killer who has been terrorizing the town. Written by Park Hye-ryun, the SBS TV series revolves around a young boy with psychic powers that help him to read other people’s minds. Because of his powers, he knows the pain that people go through, and with the help of an honest public defender, he decides to bring justice to this corrupt and unfair world. Bring It On, Ghost is not a crime thriller but it does have a supernatural aspect like Behind Your Touch and instead of crime in this series we see our protagonists fighting ghosts. Based on a webtoon titled Let’s Fight, Ghost by Im In-seu (Im Man-seob), the TVN series follows the story of Park Bong Pal and Kim Hyun Ji. Bong Pal is a young man who can see ghosts and Hyun Ji is a young woman who suddenly dies and becomes a ghost. After meeting Bong Pal, she starts living with him and helps him fight ghosts. Zombie Detective is a fantasy crime thriller series and I think the plot of this Korean drama is self-explanatory. Written by Baek Eun-jin, the KBS2 series follows the story of Kim Moo-young, who wakes up one day as a zombie with no memories of his past and the knowledge that he is a detective, he trains himself to act and talk like a human and after that, he starts working as a private detective to figure out the mystery of his past. In his quest, he is helped by Gong Sun-ji, a former investigative journalist now working as Moo young’s assistant who knows his secret. While You Were Sleeping is much more of a romantic drama than a crime-thriller, it does follow protagonists who have supernatural powers that they use to solve crimes. Written by Park Hye-ryun, the SBS TV series follows the story of Nam Hong-joo, who has dreams that tell her the future in which people are dying but she has never been able to change them until she meets a young prosecutor Jung Jae-chun, who starts to have similar dreams.
