Netflix has just revealed the new cast and a sneak peek for the much anticipated Season 2 of Netflix’s hit series Shadow and Bone during its global fan event TUDUM.
The fantasy series was officially renewed for a second season in June 2021, but since then there is no word on where the production of the series is heading. Until today the only details known about Season 2 are that it will adapt to the second book Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. It’ll have eight episodes and Eric Heisserer will be returning as the writer and showrunner of the series. But now we know that Season 2 is currently in production in Budapest.
Shadow and Bone will also add new cast members including Jack Wolfe as Wylan Hendricks, Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Bataar, and Patrick Gibson as Nikolai Lantsov. Season 2 will also see the return of Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, and Ben Barnes as General Kirigan.
