If you love swoon worthy South Korean dramas then we have some great news for you as according to report that came out on June 16, A Korean Odyssey‘s Oh Yeon Seo and Emergency Couple‘s Choi Jin Hyuk are in talks to star as the leading couple in the upcoming adaptation of the popular webtoon and web novel series Positively Yours.
Positively Yours was originally published as a web novel and later adapted into a webtoon by Lee Jeong and Kang Ki. Both the web novel and webtoon became extremely popular in both Korea and the rest of the world, leading the TV executives to race to adapt them into the television format.
The original story of the web novel and the webtoon is set in a school, and it revolves around the whirlwind romance of a school teacher and school board chairman, but according to reports in the upcoming TV adaptation, the series will move its setting to the corporate world.
The upcoming drama is set to follow Jang Hee Won, a successful career woman who decides not to marry and focus on her career, but a single mistake turns her life upside down. She gets pregnant with the baby of Kang Doo Joon, the president of the company. Upon learning about Hee Won’s pregnancy Doo Joon decides to take responsibility and asks Hee Won to marry him.
While for now, the casting news of Oh Yeon Seo and Choi Jin Hyuk is at best a possibility, as the former actor’s agency has confirmed that he is reviewing the offer, concrete news about the upcoming adaptation series will be coming soon. So, stay tuned.
