The opening credits for the upcoming sixth season of the acclaimed fantasy drama series Outlander have been revealed. Outlander Season 6 is all set to premiere on March 6, on all Starz platforms. The opening credits have the show’s theme song “Skye Boat Song,” while showing images from the upcoming season.
The sixth season of the historical drama series is based on Diana Gabaldon‘s book A Breath of Snow and Ashes, and it will show the Frasers trying the maintain peace in a society that is unknowing moving towards a revolution. While Claire (Caitríona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) have built a home for themselves in Fraser’s Ridge and now they have to defend it.
Outlander’s return in 2022 with its sixth season was revealed by Galbadon, who is the author of the Outlander book series, on which Starz’s series is based. The news was revealed during the launch of the ninth book in the series which is titled, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.
