After Netflix, Hulu is the streaming service where you find some of the most entertaining shows granted that they are not Hulu originals, but who cares about that? So, just like every month, Hulu is back with a host of great movies and TV shows to add to its ever-expanding digital library. It doesn’t matter if you are in the mood for comedy or drama, this month Hulu has got you covered. So, here are the best new movies and shows coming on Hulu in June 2024.

Clipped Season 1 (June 4)

Clipped is a sports drama series created by Gina Welch. Based on the ESPN 30 for 30 podcasts titled The Sterling Affairs by Ramona Shelburne, the FX series takes us behind the scenes of one of the NBA’s most notorious scandals caused by Donald Sterling, the former owner of the LA Clippers. Clippers tells us the story of a dysfunctional basketball organization and its racist owner who is making trouble for the team every step of the way holding it all down together Doc Rivers, the famed coach of the team trying to win the franchise’s first championship. Clipped stars Laurence Fishburne, Ed O’Neill, Cleopatra Coleman, Kelly AuCoin, Jacki Weaver, Sheldon Bailey, Austin Scott, and Charlie McElveen.

Queenie Season 1 (June 7)

Queenie is a British comedy-drama series created by Candice Carty-Williams. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Carty-Williams, the Hulu series follows the story of Queenie, a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman in South London, as she tries to insert herself into two different cultures while fitting in neatly in neither. Queenie stars Dionne Brown in the lead role with Samuel Adewunmi, Llewella Gideon, Jon Pointing, Michelle Greenidge, Tilly Keeper, Joseph Marcell, Mim Shaikh, and Laura Whitmore starring in supporting roles.

Beautiful Wedding (June 7)

Beautiful Wedding is a sequel to the 2023 romantic comedy film Beautiful Disaster. Written and directed by Roger Kumble, the 2024 film is based on a novel titled A Beautiful Wedding by author Jamie McGuire and it continues the story of Abby and Travis as they wake up as newlyweds after a crazy night in Las Vegas. Without thinking about it too much they decide to go on an even crazier honeymoon in Mexico, but as time passes they must decide if this marriage is what they want or if they should end it before it stops getting fun. Beautiful Wedding stars Dylan Sprouse and Virginia Gardner in the lead role with Alex Aiono, Austin North, Libe Barer, Kyle Richards, Neil Bishop, Rob Estes, and Steven Bauer starring in supporting roles.

Chewing Gum Seasons 1 & 2 (June 14)

Chewing Gum is a British cringe comedy series created by Michaela Coel. Based on a 2012 play titled Chewing Gum Dreams by Coel, the comedy series follows the story of Tracey, a young woman entering into adulthood as she struggles with growing up and facing adult challenges while being completely devoted to her idol Beyonce. Chewing Gum stars Coel in the lead role with Danielle Isaie, Robert Lonsdale, Susan Wokoma, Shola Adewusi, Kadiff Kirwan, Olisa Odele, Maggie Steed, Sarah Hoare, and Jonathan Bailey starring in supporting roles.

Shoresy Season 3 (June 21)

Shoresy is returning for its much anticipated third season after a perfect Season 2. Created by Jared Keeso, the Letterkenny spin-off series continues the story of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs hockey team as they take on an even bigger challenge while doing silly things and delivering brilliantly written dialogues to make us laugh. Shoresy Season 3 sees the return of every main cast member including Keeso, Tasya Teles, Terry Ryan, Blair Lamora, Celeste Ziegler, Camille Sullivan, Keilani Elizabeth Rose, Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat, Kim Cloutier, and Ryan McDonell.

The Bear Season 3 (June 27)

This is the series we have all been waiting to return and it’s finally here. The Bear is finally here with its much-anticipated Season 3 and we have to say that the expectations for this season are even more than its previous season. Created by Christopher Storer, the FX series follows the staff of a recently renovated high-end restaurant called The Bear led by an extremely talented but troubled chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto. Season 3 will see the return of all the main cast including Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliot, and Matty Matheson.

Red Right Hand (June 28)

Red Right Hand is an action thriller film directed by Ian and Eshom Nelms from a screenplay by Jonathan Esley. The 2024 film follows the story of Cash, a man trying to live an honest life and take care of her recently orphaned niece but when the sadistic kingpin Big Cat who runs his town forces Cash to come back to work for her again, he will find out how far he is willing to protect what’s his. Red Right Hand stars Orlando Bloom in the lead role with Andie MacDowell, Scott Haze, Garret Dillahunt, Mo McRae, James Lafferty, Brian Geraghty, Chapel Oaks, Kenneth Miller, and Nicholas Logan starring in supporting roles.
