Friday Night Lights Season 1-5 (September 1)
Friday Night Lights is a sports drama series created by Peter Berg. Based on the 1990 book Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream by author H.G. Bissinger, the NBC and later on The 101 Network series is set in a small Texan town, and it follows the newly arrived football coach, Eric Taylor, who must train his team to win as the whole town is really interested in the game. The Runarounds Season 1 (September 1)
The Runarounds is a musical teen drama series created by Jonas Pate. The Prime Video series is set in Wilmington, North Carolina, and it revolves around a group of teenagers who decide to form a band in order to avoid the daily grind of adulthood. A Working Man (September 3)
A Working Man is an action thriller film directed by David Ayer, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone. Based on the 2014 novel Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon, the 2025 film follows Levon Cade, an ex-Royal Marine Commando working as a construction foreman. His life is soon thrown into chaos when his boss’s daughter is kidnapped by dangerous criminals. A Working Man stars Jason Statham, Jason Flemyng, Michael Peña, and David Harbour.
Black Bag (September 5)
Black Bag is a spy thriller drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by David Koepp. The 2025 film follows George Woodhouse, a British intelligence officer who’s tasked with sniffing out a traitor in their midst, but things get complicated when George’s wife Kathryn St. Jean turns out to be the main suspect. Black Bag stars Michael Fassbender, Cate Blanchett, Marisa Abela, Tom Burke, Naomie Harris, Regé-Jean Page, Kae Alexander, Ambika Mod, and Pierce Brosnan.
Confidence Queen Season 1 (September 6)
Confidence Queen is an upcoming South Korean action comedy drama series written by Hong Seung Hyun. The Prime Video series follows Yoon Yi-rang, a brilliant con woman who teams up with two other con artists to pull off elaborate scams to expose corrupt people and steal their illegal money. Confidence Queen stars Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, Joo Jong-hyuk, Hyun Bong-sik, and Kim Young-mi.
The Girlfriend Season 1 (September 10)
The Girlfriend is an upcoming psychological thriller series. Based on Michelle Frances’ 2017 book of the same name, the Prime Video series follows Laura, a successful woman with a loving son whose idyllic life is upended when her son meets Cherry Laine, a conniving but beautiful young woman. Helluva Boss Seasons 1-2 (September 10)
Helluva Boss is an adult animated musical dark comedy web series created by Vivienne Medrano. The YouTube series revolves around the employees of an assassin company, who do their business in the realm of the living while operating from Hell. Helluva Boss’ voice cast includes Brandon Rogers, Richard Horvitz, Vivian Nixon, Erica Lindbeck, Bryce Pinkham, and Alex Brightman.
Novocaine (September 12)
Novocaine is an action comedy film co-directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen. The 2025 film follows Nathan Caine, a sheltered young man who’s unable to feel pain because of a rare disease, but he soon finds happiness when he meets Sherry Margrave, a co-worker. Things take a dire turn when the bank where he works is robbed, and Sherry is taken hostage. To get her back, he uses his disability to his advantage. Gen V Season 2 (September 17)
Gen V is a superhero action dark comedy-drama series co-developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and John Higgins, the Prime Video series is a spin-off of the popular series The Boys. Season 2 of Gen V will continue the story of Marie and her friends as they are released from their captivity and brought back into Godolkin, where they must stop a sinister research program known as Project Odessa.
