Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (August 2)

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a sci-fi action film directed by Wes Ball from a screenplay by Josh Friedman. The 2024 film is the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes film series, and it is set many generations after Caesar’s death. It revolves around a chimpanzee hunter and a human woman as they go on a perilous journey to save their respective species’ future. The Pickup is an upcoming heist action comedy film directed by Tim Story from a screenplay co-written by Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows. The Prime Video series follows Russell and Travis, two mismatched truck drivers on a routine cash pickup, but their day takes a turn for the worse when a gang of ruthless criminals led by Zoe attacks them to rob the money.
