Peacock is ready with an entertainment-packed September this year. The upcoming month will see the release of the much-anticipated mockumentary-style comedy series, The Paper, as well as the premiere of Season 2 of the medical drama series Brilliant Minds. The Paper Season 1 (September 4)

The Paper is an upcoming mockumentary-style comedy series co-created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The upcoming Peacock series is a spin-off of the popular NBC series The Office, and it revolves around a group of inept journalists trying to revive a declining newspaper as their lives are documented by the same crew who recorded the employees of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The Paper stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nunez.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (September 10)

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an animated adventure comedy film directed by Joel Crawford from a screenplay co-written by Paul Fisher and Tommy Swerdlow. The 2022 sequel film follows Puss in Boots as he learns that he is on his last life, and upon discovering that fact, he decides to retire, but soon he learns of a wishing star and decides to go on a journey to get his lives back. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’s voice cast includes Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Harvey Guillen, Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, and John Mulaney.
Screamboat (September 12)

Screamboat is a comedy horror film directed by Steven LaMorte, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Matthew Garcia-Dunn. Based on the 1928 animated short film titled Steamboat Willie, the 2025 film revolves around a group of New Yorkers as they fight for survival against a monstrous mouse. Screamboat stars David Howard Thornton, Allison Pittel, Amy Schumacher, Jesse Posey, Kailey Hyman, Jesse Kove, and Jarlath Conroy.
Abigail (September 19)

Abigail is a vampire horror dark comedy film co-directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay co-written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick. The 2024 film revolves around a group of criminals who are tasked with kidnapping the young daughter of a dangerous criminal lord who turns out to be far more dangerous than they could have ever thought possible. Abigail stars Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, Alisha Weir, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Brilliant Minds Season 2 (September 23)

Brilliant Minds is a medical drama series created by Michael Grassi. Based on two books by Oliver Sacks, Season 2 of the NBC series will resolve the emotional cliffhanger the series left us with at the end of Season 1, and it will see Dr. Oliver Wolf trying to deal with the fact that the father he thought had died long ago is actually alive. Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto, Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThorp, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, and Teddy Sears.
