Barron’s Cove (January 1)
Barron’s Cove is a crime thriller drama film written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman. The 2024 film follows a grieving father with a violent past who kidnaps a boy he thinks is responsible for his son’s death. As the manhunt for him begins, he starts to question the true motives of his pursuers. Barron’s Cove stars Garrett Hedlund, Stephen Lang, Brittany Snow, Marc Menchaca, Tramell Tillman, and Hamish Linklater.
Girl Taken Season 1 (January 8)
Girl Taken is an upcoming British psychological thriller drama series created by David Turpin, Suzanne Cowie, and Nessah Muthy. Based on Hollie Overton’s 2016 novel Baby Doll, the Paramount+ series is set in a rural English town, and it revolves around two twin sisters as their lives turn upside down after one of them is abducted by a respected local teacher. Girl Taken stars Jill Halfpenny, Alfie Allen, Tallulah Evans, and Delphi Evans.
Coldwater Season 1 (January 9)
Coldwater is a British psychological mystery thriller drama series created by David Ireland. The ITV series follows John, a family man having a midlife crisis, as he uproots his family and moves them to a rural town after a violent incident. John soon strikes up a friendship with their seemingly dangerous neighbor despite his wife’s suspicions. Coldwater stars Andrew Lincoln, Eve Myles, Ewen Bremner, and Indira Varma.
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Season 1 (January 15)
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is an upcoming sci-fi drama series created by Gaia Violo. The Paramount+ series exists in the Star Trek Universe, and it is set in the 32nd century. It revolves around a group of Starfleet cadets as they struggle to understand the responsibilities of becoming officers while dealing with challenges that teenage years bring. School Spirits Season 3 (January 28)
School Spirits is a supernatural mystery teen drama series co-created by Megan and Nate Trinrud. The upcoming season of the Paramount+ series continues the story of Maddie Nears and her ghost friends as they try to solve the mystery of why so many people died at Split River High, but their investigation leads them down a darker path and even threatens the world of both the living and the dead.
