Escape (May 3)

Escape is a South Korean action thriller film directed by Lee Jong-pil from a screenplay co-written by Kwon Seong-hwi and Kim Woo-geun. The 2024 film follows Lim Gyu-nam, a North Korean soldier who defects to South Korea and is soon finds himself being chased by a ruthless North Korean Major. Escape stars Lee Je-hoon, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Hong Xa-bin.
Insidious: The Red Door (May 4)

Insidious: The Red Door is a supernatural horror thriller film directed by Patrick Wilson from a screenplay by Scott Teems. The 2023 film is the fifth film in the Insidious film franchise and a direct sequel to Insidious: Chapter 2. It follows Josh Lambert as he goes with his son, Dalton, to drop him off at a school. Things take a turn for the nightmarish when demons from Dalton’s past return to haunt him once again. Insidious: The Red Room stars Ty Simpkins, Patrick Wilson, Sinclair Daniel, Hiam Abbass, and Rose Byrne.
Summer of 69 (May 9)

Summer of 69 is a comedy film directed by Jillian Bell, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Liz Nico and Jules Byrne. The 2025 film follows Abby, an awkward high schooler who recruits an exotic dancer to help her seduce her longtime crush before she graduates. Summer of 69 stars Chloe Fineman, Sam Morelos, Matt Cornett, Charlie Day, Natalie Morales, Alex Moffat, Paula Pell, and Nicole Byer.
Last Breath (May 16)

Last Breath is a survival thriller film directed by Alex Parkinson, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Mitchell LaFortune and David Brooks. Based on the 2019 documentary of the same name by Parkinson and Richard da Costa, the 2025 film follows the true story of a group of veteran deep-sea divers attempting to rescue a crewmate trapped below the ocean’s surface. Last Breath stars Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, Finn Cole, and Cliff Curtis.
Night Call (May 20)

Night Call is an action thriller film directed by Michiel Blanchart, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Gilles Marchand. The 2024 film is set over the course of a single night in Belgium as a Black Lives Matter protest is happening. It follows a young locksmith who is called by a mysterious woman and soon finds himself as the target of a ruthless mob boss. Night Call stars Jonathan Feltre, Natacha Krief, Jonas Bloquet, Thomas Mustin, and Romain Duris.
Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 (May 21)

Nine Perfect Strangers is a mystery thriller drama series created by David E. Kelley. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, the upcoming Season 2 of the Hulu series is set at a wellness retreat in the Australian Alps, and it will probably revolve around nine strangers as they discover dark, hidden secrets. Nine Puzzles is an upcoming South Korean mystery thriller crime drama series written by Lee Eun-Mi. The Disney+ series follows Jo I-na, a criminal profiler, as she investigates a series of murders where the dead bodies are found beside a mysterious puzzle, which is connected to her own past. Nine Puzzles stars Kim Da-mi, Son Suk-ku, Kim Sung Kyun, Hwang Jung-min, Hyun Bong-sik, Lee Sung-min, Jun Hee-Lee, Kim Ye-won, and Kim Do-geon.
The Last Showgirl (May 23)

The Last Showgirl is a drama film directed by Gia Coppola from a screenplay by Kate Gersten. Based on Gersten’s Body of Work, the 2024 film follows Shelly Gardner, a middle-aged Las Vegas showgirl who grapples with aging and an uncertain future after she discovers that the revue she performed at is closing down. The Seed of the Sacred Fig (May 27)

The Seed of the Sacred Fig is a Persian political crime drama film written and directed by Mohammad Rasoulof. The 2024 film is set in Tehran, and it follows Iman, an investigative judge who becomes more and more paranoid amid nationwide political protests and civil unrest. Adults Season 1 (May 29)

Adults is an upcoming coming-of-age comedy series created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw.
