Netflix just released the latest trailer of one of the most anticipated series of 2021, Shadow and Bone based on Leigh Bardugo‘s Grishaverse novels this Netflix fantasy series is arriving on Netflix on April 23, 2021.
The Shadow and Bone series centers on teenager Alina Starkov, an orphan who grew up in Ravka (a Russia-inspired city), and then her entire life changes as she harnesses a power that she never knew she had to save her best friend.
With Shadow and Bone Season 1 premiere almost only a month away there are rumors that Netflix has already given the go-ahead for Shadow and Bone Season 2.
The official synopsis for Shadow and Bone by Netflix is:
“Dark forces conspire against orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov when she unleashes an extraordinary power that could change the fate of her war-torn world.”
Shadow and Bone is produced by 21 Laps Entertainment (Stranger Things) and it stars Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, and Ben Barnes as General Kirigan.
