Netflix’s much-anticipated live-action adaptation series of the popular video game franchise Assassin’s Creed has just added Laura Marcus to its cast.
According to Deadline, the Death by Lightning actress has been added to the cast as a series regular and will join the previously announced cast, Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, and Zachary Hart.
Assassin’s Creed’s story revolves around a secret war being fought between two mysterious factions, one of which is trying to control the human population through manipulation and control, while the other is fighting for free will.
Roberto Patino and David Wiener will serve as showrunners for the Netflix series, which is all set to begin production sometime in 2026 in Italy.
Marcus recently starred in Netflix’s political thriller miniseries Death by Lightning and will next appear in the upcoming The Hunger Games prequel film Sunrise on the Reaping.
