Love Life Season 2 – Keith David Joins HBO Max’s Anthology Series

Keith David has joins HBO Max’s romantic anthology series Love Life in its second season as the narrator.

Love Life Season 2 will tell the story of Marcus Watkins as he separates from his long-time girlfriend, who he thought was going to be his person. The rug pulled out from under him, Watkins is reluctantly back into the search for the love and fulfillment that he thought he already had.

According to Deadline, David will be joining the previously announced cast for the second season which includes Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson, and Chris “Comedian CP” Powell, and recurring guest stars are Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb, and John Earl Jelks. The first season star Anna Kendrick who is also executive producing the series will also show alongside Zoë Chao, Peter Vack, Sasha Compére, and Nick Thune.

Love Life Season 2’s showrunners and creators are Sam Boyd, Bridget Bedard, and Rachelle Williams. Boyd, Bedard, and Williams will also be serving as executive producers alongside Kendrick, Harper, Paul Feig, and Dan Magnante. The series is produced by Lionsgate Television and Feigco Entertainment.

David is a veteran and a very well-known actor with credits in both films and television. He is mostly known for his role in Platoon, There’s Something About Mary, Community, and Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. He’s currently creating a show about the legendary blues singer Joe Williams.
