Justified: City Primeval – Episodes Guide (Release Dates & Time)

The fans of the hit FX series Justified, are in for a new bloody ride with their favorite Marshal Raylan Givens. The FX sequel series titled Justified City: Primeval sees our hero fifteen years after we left him leaving the hollers of Kentucky to spend more time with his daughter. Raylan now finds himself in Detroit, playing a whole new ballgame once again with a charming yet very dangerous criminal.

Justified: City Primeval premiered with its first two episodes on FX on July 18, with new episodes coming out weekly.

City Primeval sees the return of our favorite hero Raylan Givens respectively played by Timothy Olyphant. But, sadly there is no announced return of any of our fan-favorite characters such as Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), U.S. Marshal Tim Gutterson (Jacob Pitts), Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Art Mullen (Nick Searcy), Deputy U.S. Marshal Rachel Brooks (Erica Tazel), and Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter).

Olyphant is joined with a whole new set of characters, which includes Clement Mansel (Boyd Holbrook), Willa Givens (Vivian Olyphant), Carolyn Wilder (Aunjanue Ellis), Sandy Stanton (Adelaide Clemens), Maureen Downey (Marin Ireland), Wendell Robinson (Victor Williams), Marcus “Sweety” Sweeton (Vondie Curtis-Hall), and Norbert Bryl (Norbert Leo Butz).

Each season of the original Justified series consisted of thirteen episodes but City Primeval is a miniseries and that’s the reason why it only has eight episodes. The first two episodes of City Primeval aired on FX on 10/9c p.m., with the rest of the episodes coming out on every upcoming Tuesday. “Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind.

A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who’s already slipped through the fingers of Detroit’s finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell’s lawyer, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder, has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught in between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well.
