What is the plot of When Calls The Heart?
Janette Oke is the creative mind behind the story. The author of the book on which this wonderful series WHEN CALLS THE HEART is based. The story revolves around a woman ELIZABETH THATCHER played by ERIN KRAKOW who is born amongst the hustle and bustle of the big city but moves to a small town to teach. The series showcases the life of the lives of the residents of a small town called Coal Valley in West Canada.
Do you remember why the name of the town was changed to HOPE VALLEY?
The depressing and sad lives of the residents make the heart pain. But that was the reality the residents were going through. Families were ruined in the coal mine explosion. But the widow Abigail Stanton has faith and belief. She encourages everyone to be back to work again in order to make a living and get bread. She was a new hope. The second season starts with the town being renamed HOPE VALLEY.
According to the sources, Seasons 6 and 7 of the series will have to be paid for by the fans separately. Not so exciting!!
Cast And Characters of When Calls The Heart
ERIN KRAKOW (Elizabeth Thatcher, Elizabeth Thornton, Elizabeth Thatcher-Thornton): Who is born amongst the hustle and bustle of the big city but moves to a small town to teach. Life is not a bed of roses for her. She had to leave her family and all otherworldly pleasures.
DANIEL LISSING (Jack Thornton): As a Mountie with the name Jack Thronton. A man with dignity. He keeps saving people. Hatred for ERIN on the first meet soon turns into a romantic relationship. But fans were disappointed with his death in Season 5.
The town’s only sheriff and judge (Bill Avery) played by Jack Wagner.
LORI LOUGHLIN (Abigail Stanton): Playing the role of coal mine widow Abigail Stanton. She is the one behind HOPE VALLEY. Even after losing the whole family in the explosion, she is a tough lady. So much to be learned from her in real life.
MARTIN CUMMINS (Henry Gowen): The businessman and the owner of the mining company. He steals the money of the residents of Hope Valley but is forgiven later.
Fans HOPE that the HOPE VALLEY return soon with its Season 6 and 7. But it’s a long wait, we guess…
Fans have to wait to watch the first five series again as currently the series is not being showcased on any digital platform. Series were removed from Netflix last month.
All the DANIEL LESSING fans are feeling devastated after his tragic death in Season 5. Watching the hero die cannot be fun at all.
