Baby Groot is finally coming to Disney+ in the animated series titled I Am Groot. The release date for the animated series has finally been confirmed via a poster released by Disney+ and Groot is coming to town on August 10.
Baby Groot, definitely the cutest member of the Guardians of the Galaxy team is getting his own series and while the GOTG gang is preparing for a bit of work in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, Baby Groot will be going on his own adventures in the upcoming Disney+ series. Disney+ recently release a poster for the upcoming series in which Baby Groot is relaxing with sunglasses and headphones while soaking in the sun and a drink on his side.
According to a brief synopsis released a while ago the animated series will follow “Baby Groot’s glory days growing up, and getting into trouble among the stars.”
James Gunn, the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise will be serving as an executive producer on the series and Vin Diesel will be returning to voice the iconic character.
I Am Groot will premiere on Disney+ on August 10. Check out the new poster below:
