The much anticipated Criminal Minds revival series will reunite almost all of the cast from the original series. The upcoming series titled Criminal Minds: Evolution will be a miniseries. The upcoming series will see the BAU’s brilliant criminal profilers trying to find “their greatest threat yet.” The team will be going up against an UnSub who is cultivating a network of serial killers during the global pandemic.
Criminal Minds: Evolution – Release Date?
Criminal Minds: Evolution will be premiering its first half of the miniseries on Thanksgiving Day. Criminal Minds: Evolution will premiere with its first two episodes on November 24, 2022. Then the rest of the episodes will air weekly with the final episode of the first part airing on December 15. Then the second half of the series will resume airing on January 12 with the final episode of the whole series airing on February 9.

Original returning cast members are Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, A.J. Cook as JJ, Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia, Aisha Tyler as Dr. Tara Lewis, Adam Rodriguez as Luke Alvez, and Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss. The new cast member joining the series are Zack Gilford as Elias Voit, Josh Stewart as Detective William LaMontagne Jr., and Nicole Pacent as Rebecca. Sadly, Criminal Minds regular Matthew Gray Gubler will not be reprising his beloved role of Spencer Reid.
