Get ready for an incredible story of human resilience and hope in the face of insurmountable odds in Earth Abides. Based on the 1949 novel of the same name by George R. Stewart, the MGM+ series is created by Todd Komarnicki, and it follows Isherwood “Ish” Williams, a young man who spends months in isolation and when he goes out into the world he learns that most of the world’s population has been wiped out because of a mysterious illness. Now, its up to him and a few other survivors to build back civilization and open their arms to the people who are suffering.
