Carnival Row Season 2 – Jamie Harris Promoted to Series Regular

Amazon Prime Video’s fantasy series Carnival Row has upped Jamie Harris‘ Sergeant Dombey to a series regular in the upcoming second season. Sergeant Dombey recurred in the first season and according to Deadline, he has been promoted to a series regular in Season 2 of the series from Legendary Television and Amazon Studios.

Carnival Row is a fantasy series starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in the lead roles. The series is described as a fantasy-noir in a neo-Victorian city and it tells the story of mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city where tension is high between citizens about the growing immigrant population.

Harris’ character Sergeant Dombey is a tough police officer in the city, who believes in the old rule of life, and hates the growing population of foreign fairies and pix in his city.

Erik Oleson will be serving as the showrunner on Carnival Row Season 2, while Marc Guggenheim (Arrow), Rene Echevarria (Star Trek), Jon Amiel, Bloom, and Travis Beacham serve as executive producers.

Harris has previously worked in shows and movies like HBO’s Lovecraft Country, Showtime’s Shameless, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Kingdom, The Magicians, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. He will also appear in the upcoming Steven Spielberg movie West Side Story which is all set to premiere in theaters on December 10.
