Amazon Prime Video’s Series ‘Them’ – What We Know So Far

Hey, fans the wait is ultimately over with Amazon Prime Video releasing ‘Them’: Covenant series now. All the details are unveiled through this article.

A horror anthology series that will be coming up with the first season on Amazon. According to the reports shared by Variety, it was supposed to be a two-season show, but for now, it will start with one season and a total of 10 episodes.

THEM – Plot?

The official synopsis provided by Prime Video for THEM is:

“THEM is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The first season, 1950s-set COVENANT centers around a Black family who move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.”

THEM – Release Date?

The series will showcase at the 2021 SXSW Film Festival in March and its broadcast on Amazon Prime Video is scheduled for Friday, April 9, 2021.

THEM – Creators?

Them: Covenant series is created by Little Marvin who is also the executive producer of the show. Other executive producers include Lena Waithe, Miri Yoon, Roy Lee, Michael Connolly, and David Matthews.

In an interview with Deadline Marvin said:

There aren’t enough exclamation points to express how thrilled I am to partner with my Amazon Studios family on this new adventure

The Series seem promising according to the trailer. It is jointly produced by Amazon and Sony Pictures along with Marvin.

THEM – Cast?

The cast for season one comprises Deborah Ayorinde, Shahadi Wright Joseph (US, The Lion King), Alison Pill (American Horror Story, Star Trek: Picard), and Melody Hurd (Fatherhood).

Additional cast for the series also encompasses Javier Botet (IT: Chapter Two, Slender Man), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Percy Hynes White (The Gifted), and Derek Phillips (Shooter, Longmire).
