There’s no shortage of fans of Showtime’s Dexter series, mainly because it was a brilliant piece of television with a very intriguing and charismatic leading character played to perfection by Michael C. Hall. Dexter’s latest season aired in 2013 with twelve episodes with a very hated finale episode but fans received a piece of very good news not long ago when the creators of the series announced a new Dexter revival miniseries which is going to be premiering in the fall. So, until it premiers we have a list of the best 10 TV shows to watch if you loved ‘Dexter’ while waiting for the new season and hopefully a better ending.
Dexter – Plot?

Mr. Robot (2015-2019)
Synopsis: Young antisocial computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. Help bring down corporate America, including the company he is paid to protect – which presents him with a moral dilemma. Although he works for a corporation, his personal beliefs make it hard to resist the urge to take down the heads of multinational companies that he believes are running – and ruining – the world.
Synopsis: In the late 1970s two FBI agents expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters.
Prodigal Son (2019-2021)
Synopsis: PRODIGAL SON is a fresh take on a crime franchise with a provocative and outrageous lead character and a darkly comedic tone, from Emmy Award-nominated executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (“Riverdale,” “The Flash”) and writers Chris Fedak (“Deception,” “Chuck”) and Sam Sklaver (“Deception,” “Bored to Death”). The series stars Tom Payne (“The Walking Dead”) as the son of a convicted serial killer (Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Michael Sheen, “Masters of Sex,” “Frost/Nixon”), who has made hunting murderers his life’s work.
Breaking Bad (2008-2013)

The Following (2013-2015)
Synopsis: Golden Globe winner and Emmy® nominee Kevin Bacon and UK’s James Purefoy (Rome) star in this terrifying new thriller from Kevin Williamson (The Vampire Diaries, Scream). When notorious serial killer Joe Carroll (Purefoy) escapes from death row and embarks on a new killing spree, the FBI calls former agent Ryan Hardy (Bacon), a psychologically scarred veteran who captured Carroll nine years earlier, after Carroll murdered 14 female students on a college campus where he taught literature. The Killing (2011-2013)

The Fall (2013-2016)
Synopsis: The intertwined lives of two hunters – a serial killer hidden in plain sight and the detective desperate to catch him.
Synopsis: The dark and haunting series “Hannibal” returns for a third season, revealing the fates of characters hanging in the balance, and the continuing psychological cat-and-mouse games they face. After the shocking events of the Season 2 finale, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) is on the run in Europe – accompanied by his psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) – sporting a new identity, but servicing the same insatiable appetite. As the lives of Will (Hugh Dancy), Jack (Laurence Fishburne) and Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) converge toward Hannibal again, each with their own motivations to catch him once and for all, their deadly dance turns in startling and unexpected ways. In the second half of the season, Jack implores Will to help him catch a new threat, a serial killer preying on families, known in the press as the Tooth Fairy, but self-proclaimed as The Great Red Dragon.
