There’s no shortage of fans of Showtime’s Dexter series, mainly because it was a brilliant piece of television with a very intriguing and charismatic leading character played to perfection by Michael C. Hall. Dexter’s latest season aired in 2013 with twelve episodes with a very hated finale episode but fans received a piece of very good news not long ago when the creators of the series announced a new Dexter revival miniseries which is going to be premiering in the fall. So, until it premiers we have a list of the best 10 TV shows to watch if you loved ‘Dexter’ while waiting for the new season and hopefully a better ending.

Mr. Robot (2015-2019)
Synopsis: Young antisocial computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. Help bring down corporate America, including the company he is paid to protect – which presents him with a moral dilemma. Although he works for a corporation, his personal beliefs make it hard to resist the urge to take down the heads of multinational companies that he believes are running – and ruining – the world.

Prodigal Son (2019-2021)
Synopsis: PRODIGAL SON is a fresh take on a crime franchise with a provocative and outrageous lead character and a darkly comedic tone, from Emmy Award-nominated executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (“Riverdale,” “The Flash”) and writers Chris Fedak (“Deception,” “Chuck”) and Sam Sklaver (“Deception,” “Bored to Death”). The series stars Tom Payne (“The Walking Dead”) as the son of a convicted serial killer (Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Michael Sheen, “Masters of Sex,” “Frost/Nixon”), who has made hunting murderers his life’s work.

The Following (2013-2015)

The Fall (2013-2016)
Synopsis: The intertwined lives of two hunters – a serial killer hidden in plain sight and the detective desperate to catch him.
Synopsis: The dark and haunting series “Hannibal” returns for a third season, revealing the fates of characters hanging in the balance, and the continuing psychological cat-and-mouse games they face.
