After years of waiting, we finally have the much-awaited series adaptation of Liu Cixin‘s brilliant sci-fi novel series The Three-Body Problem. Created by Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the Netflix series tells us the story of a group of characters in the scientific community, who try to find out the mystery behind several suicides of prolific scientists. 3 Body Problem stars Eiza González, Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Alex Sharp, Rosalind Chao, Zine Tseng, Jonathan Pryce, and Marlo Kelly. When she suddenly resurfaces, the thing that shocks everyone including the FBI and her adoptive parents is that now she can see and she calls herself “the OA” (the original angel), but she refuses to reveal what happened during the past seven years to the FBI and her parents. Silo isn’t exactly like 3 Body Problem as it already exists in a dystopian future but if you loved the thriller and mystery aspect of the Netflix series, then you will find this Apple TV+ series quite entertaining. Based on a trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey, the sci-fi dystopian drama series is set in a dystopian where a human colony lives in an underground Silo, regulated by one simple rule which is that don’t ask to go outside. Silo is incredibly thrilling and has a lot of great characters that will surely stay with you long after you are done watching the series. Created by Graham Yost, Silo stars Rebecca Ferguson in the lead role with Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, Rick Gomez, and Chinaza Uche starring in supporting roles.
