Rear Window is a mystery thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock from a screenplay by John Michael Hayes. Based on the 1942 short story titled It Had to Be Murder by Cornell Woolrich, the 1954 film follows L.B. “Jeff” Jefferies, a professional photographer with a broken leg who passes his time by spying on his neighbors, but things go horribly wrong when he thinks that he has just witnessed a murder. Rear Window stars James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Wendell Corey, Thelma Ritter, and Raymond Burr.

Frenzy is a British thriller drama film directed by Alfred Hitchcock from a screenplay by Anthony Shaffer. Based on the 1966 novel Goodbye Piccadilly, Farewell Leicester Square by Arthur La Bern, the 1972 film is set in London and it follows a serial killer who has been killing young women. One of his past victims’ ex-husbands is mistakenly implicated for his crimes. Barbarian is a horror thriller film written and directed by Zach Cregger. The 2022 film follows Tess Marshall, a young woman in Detroit for an interview. Barbarian stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgard, Justin Long, and Matthew Patrick Davis.

The Town is a crime thriller drama film directed by Ben Affleck, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig and Aaron Stockard. Based on the 2004 novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, the 2010 film follows a group of thieves who rob a bank and take the bank manager hostage. They soon let her go, but one of them keeps tabs on her and soon begins developing feelings for her.
