Get ready for another grueling and traumatic shift in the emergency room as HBO Max’s hit medical drama series The Pitt finally returns for a second season. Created by R. Scott Gemmill, the HBO Max original series is set in the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, and it follows senior attending physician Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, his colleagues, and interns as they struggle to treat patients among various restrictions during a single fifteen-hour-long shift.
Before you begin to enjoy the much-anticipated second season of The Pitt, you will be happy to know that HBO Max has already greenlit the series for a third season and if the success of Season 1 and anticipation for Season are any indicator, expect many more seasons.
